Chapter 78 Legislation requires public employees to pay towards the cost of their health insurance. Premium contributions are based on a percentage of the health insurance premium and increase every year over a four-year period. To assist employees in estimating their per paycheck contribution, we have provided  this easy-to-use calculator.

 

To use the calculator, you will need the following information:

• What year of the Chapter 78 Legislation you are currently in 

  • Please Note: All Southampton BOE employees should input year 4

• Your current annual salary

• Your current monthly health insurance premium
